a) Information you provide

• Account information from third-party sign-in (Google): display name, email address, and profile photo URL.
• User-generated content: task names, reward names, profile preferences, and activity logs.

b) Automatically collected

• Usage data: pages visited, features used, timestamps, and interaction patterns.
• Device data: browser type, operating system, screen resolution, and IP address.
• Firebase Analytics: anonymous usage statistics and crash reports via Google Analytics for Firebase.

c) Guest mode

When using CoinGrind without signing in, all data is stored locally in your browser (localStorage). We do not collect or transmit guest data to our servers.

We use collected information to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
• Personalize your experience (display name, stats, leaderboard).
• Improve and optimize the Service through aggregate analytics.
• Communicate with you about updates, security alerts, or support matters.
• Detect and prevent abuse, fraud, or technical issues.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share data with:

• Firebase / Google Cloud: for authentication, database storage (Firestore), and analytics. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• Other users: leaderboard data (display name, level, XP) is visible to friends you connect with.
• Legal obligations: if required by law, regulation, or legal process.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you request deletion, we will remove your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Guest data persists in your browser until you clear your local storage.

We implement industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS), Firebase Security Rules for database access, and secure authentication via OAuth 2.0. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
• Export your data in a portable format.
• Withdraw consent for data processing.

CoinGrind uses browser local storage to persist guest session data and user preferences. We use Firebase Analytics which may set cookies for aggregate usage tracking. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may limit functionality.

The Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Your data may be processed on servers located outside your country of residence (including Google Cloud infrastructure). By using the Service, you consent to such transfers. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for cross-border data transfers.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes take effect immediately upon posting. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
